Yuka app allows you to scan food or cosmetics and tells you whether a product is good or bad. There are both free and paid versions. The app is independent and does not allow brands to advertise or sell user data. Many customer reviews are positive and found the information useful. However, others disliked sorting foods and products into rigid good and bad categories and made them overly aware of their choices.
