For comparison, the Relaxe Zero-Gravity Shiatsu Massage Chair has a list price of $5,330, and the Titan TP-Epic 4D Massage Chair has an MSRP of $7,999. Even if you can find either of those models for less than their list price, I still think the Bob and Brad model is a better value.

While I can’t speak on the durability based on my short-term testing experience, I’m confident the iMaster Pro will hold up well over time thanks to its high-quality construction. It’s crafted with premium, wear-resistant polyurethane leather—a cost-effective artificial material that you’ll see used on many massage chairs because it’s durable and easy to clean.
“Everything seems to be of good quality from a surface-level standpoint,” our expert tester explains. “The chair has a very sleek look to it, from the black upholstered leather to the remote interface.”
Both of us gave the iMaster Pro a 4-out-of-5 rating for materials, especially since it boasts a premium look that makes you feel like you’re in a luxury spa. Size, Portability, and Space Requirements
Tipping the scales at 213 pounds, the iMaster Pro is one of the heavier massage chairs I’ve come across In fact, it weighs about 73 pounds more than the average model we’ve tested. As a result, it’s not exactly the epitome of portability.
“We needed a minimum of two people when moving this chair,” our tester says. “It’s pretty bulky and heavy, so I couldn’t see someone moving it by themselves. It rolls, which does help move it, but if you were trying to take it more than just a few feet, I’d grab another person.”
I’ll echo that sentiment, as I needed help from our cameraman to move the chair from one side of our studio to the other. However, it’s also fair to say that most people will probably find a spot for the chair and leave it there, making portability less important than for your typical home gym equipment.
From a size standpoint, the iMaster Pro is roughly a foot taller than the average massage chair, so you’ll need to have sufficient space to utilize it to its full capabilities. After all, if you want to take advantage of the zero-gravity feature, you have to make sure you won’t hit a wall when you recline it fully. Overall, this isn’t the most portable or space-efficient chair, but it’s still good enough to earn a 3.5 out of 5.

User Experience
Often, a product can look good on paper and fail to live up to the hype. Thankfully, that’s not the case with the iMaster Pro. Both myself and our other product tester enjoyed trying the different modalities, intensities, and positions to find the ideal fit for our body types and recovery needs.
“I’ll be honest, I’m not a huge fan of massages, but I liked this massage chair,” our tester says. “I thought the body scan was the best feature because it ensured that the massage rollers were targeting the right areas. Since no two bodies are exactly the same, it’s nice to know that different people can get the same experience.”
Beyond the body scanning tech, there’s plenty more to like once you spend longer in this chair. The intuitive remote has everything laid out logically, making it easy to navigate the different settings. I dialed in the Thai stretch therapy mode, and let me tell you—it was very effective at stretching my quads and digging into my tight traps and shoulders. I could literally feel the knots getting some much-needed TLC.
The foot rollers also proved highly effective. I appreciate that you can dial in the intensity setting to your liking, especially since not everyone wants such an aggressive massage.

“We had to connect the legs to the machine and get all the wires and tubes connected,” she explains. “However, the instructions were detailed and assembly took around five minutes total.”

In fact, I’d go so far as to say that the higher intensity settings can be too intense in some cases, especially if you’re a smaller, or more sensitive, individual.
Then again, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
“I thought the pressure was satisfying and intense enough, but my colleague thought it could have been more intense and wished it provided deeper pressure,” our tester says. “But I will say that the motor was pretty much whisper-quiet, and the only noise you can hear comes from the air releasing or the Bluetooth speakers.”

Let’s face it: You’re not going to use a massage chair if it’s not comfortable. Otherwise, it’ll turn into a pretty expensive albatross taking up precious real estate in your home.
