In terms of finding big discounts on just about anything, Amazon Prime Day is almost right up there with Black Friday. But whereas Black Friday only comes around once a year, Prime Day is happening for a second time in 2023 on Oct. 11 and 12.
It’s technically called the Amazon Prime Early Access Sale because Prime members can get great deals ahead of Black Friday, but it has the same setup and great deals you’d find on Amazon Prime Day.
In doing our research, we found initial sales on fitness equipment of up to 40% off. When Prime Early Access Sale hits, we bet you’ll find discounts on fitness trackers, cardio equipment, and Bluetooth speakers (you gotta have tunes while you work out). Below, check out the best Amazon Prime Day fitness deals available.
Best Amazon Prime Early Access Fitness Deals
- Bowflex Blaze Gym for $900
- 16% off Sunny Health and Fitness Treadmill
- 30% off Sportsroyale Power Tower
- 27% off the Fitbit Versa
- 40% off Tribit Bluetooth speaker
- 29% off the Flybird Adjustable Weight Bench
- 11% off Cambivo Yoga Mat
- 33% off TOLOCO Massage Gun
- 20% off Brobantle Battle Ropes
- 15% off oversized yoga mats
- 10% off the Gonex Portable Home Gym
What Fitness Equipment Goes on Sale on Prime Day?
We don’t know exactly what will be on sale Oct. 11 and 12, but if last year and years past are any indication, then we believe you’ll find markdowns on items like:
- Running shoes
- Exercise bikes
- Heart rate monitors
- Smartwatches
- Kettlebells
- Shorts and leggings
- Protein powder and other supplements
- Earbuds
These deals are not exclusive to just off-brand items, either. We have seen Prime Day deals from big names in fitness gear. Our hope is that you’ll be able to score big on items from Apple, NordicTrack, Under Armour, and more.
Prime Day Fitness Tracker Deals
We could almost bet the house that there will be sales on fitness trackers from brands like Garmin and Fitbit. If you have trackers you like, you can always add them to your cart and save them for later to see if they go on sale during Prime Day.
Prime Day Weights on Sale
Wondering if you’ll see weights go on sale over the Prime Day shopping event? Resistance training with dumbbells, kettlebells, and barbells is a great way to meet fitness goals. However, these tools often come with a steep price tag. We hope to see some big discounts on brands we know.
Amazon Prime Day Exercise Bike Sales
Just so you know, Peloton recently started selling their bikes on Amazon! You can also find Pelton alternatives from brands like Schwinn. Whether these bikes will go on sale or not remains to be seen, but it doesn’t hurt to add some to your cart and wait to see what happens on Oct. 11.
Prime Day Treadmill Deals
We already see some treadmills on Amazon going on sale ahead of Prime Day, which is a good indication that others will as well. We advise knowing what to look for in a treadmill ahead of Oct. 11-12 so you can easily find the exact product you want and snag it before it goes out of stock.
Prime Day Workout Clothes
We can almost guarantee that there will be sweat-wicking leggings, shorts, workout tops, sports bras, and more on sale. In fact, Amazon has already published some deals on fitness essentials if you navigate to the Prime Early Access Sale tab from the Amazon home page.
Prime Day Bowflex Deals
Bowflex is a brand that typically does well on Amazon, so don’t be surprised if you see a home gym, adjustable dumbbell, or other deal from the manufacturer known for making affordable quality equipment.
How to Find Amazon Prime Day Fitness Deals
Amazon is huge. It’s gigantic. You could get lost jumping from product to product in search of the best deals. So how do you pinpoint what you’re looking for?
Check Early
If you go to Amazon and click on the tab at the top that says, “Shop Deals October 11-12,” you’ll get a sneak peek of what to expect in terms of sales on TVs, household products, and more. As of this publishing, there isn’t much home gym equipment on that landing page yet, but keep an eye on it.
Use Alexa
You can search products and save them in your cart, on your Wish List, or on your “save for later” list. According to Amazon, Alexa can let you know up to 24 hours before the product goes on sale. You must ask, “Alexa, what are my notifications?” You have the option then to tell Alexa to buy the product if the sale has already been activated, or to notify you when the sale on it goes live.
Earn Credit
Amazon is allowing you to earn credit toward Prime Day deals by giving you money when you purchase certain items ahead of time. For example, spending $75 on Proctor and Gamble products will earn you $20 for Prime Day. Check out the Amazon Prime Day credits page for more information.
Collect Stamps
Another way to earn some cash toward Prime Day purchases is to collect stamps – basically, earning rewards – for completing tasks. Those tasks include:
- Making a Prime-eligible purchase
- Streaming a show on Prime Video
- Listening to a song on Prime Music
- Borrowing a book on Prime Reading
To earn stamps, you need to visit the landing page on Amazon, click the stamp, and complete the task.
Use Prime Coupons
If you aren’t a Prime member yet, you can sign up for $139 a year to save money on things like free shipping. Also, there is an entire section dedicated to Prime coupons available for Prime members. Search for products you want to shop, then “clip” the coupon to save it to your account, and the discount is applied at checkout.
Shop Now
You may have already seen a lot of sales already on Amazon—for example, discounts on what Amazon calls “fitness essentials” (which is clothing). You can shop workout equipment and save now if there is something you need. I recommend visiting the Prime Day sales page first to scroll through items. However, keep in mind that it’s a bit of a gamble if you choose to buy now, or wait to see if you’ll get a better deal on Prime Day.
Shop Other Amazon Deals
Amazon has some great fitness equipment deals year-round, whether it’s the best treadmills on Amazon or the best budget home gym equipment on Amazon.
