In terms of finding big discounts on just about anything, Amazon Prime Day is almost right up there with Black Friday. This year, you have even more chances to save during Amazon’s Prime Day and its similar but smaller fall event, Amazon Prime Big Deal Days. The fall sale will run from October 7 through October 8. We expect to see discounts on the best fitness trackers, cardio equipment, Bluetooth speakers (you gotta have tunes while you work out), and more.

Quick Tips for Getting the Best Amazon Prime Day Deals

First, recognize that not everything that is on sale during Amazon Prime Day will actually be the lowest price all year for that product. Once the sale launches, we will update a section on this page highlighting the products that have the verified lowest prices of the year.

Other quick tips:

• Some deals are only for one day; if a product you want isn’t on sale Day 1, keep checking back throughout the week.
• If you land on a product and it’s not at the lowest price, search for the product on Amazon; the retailer loves to have multiple listings of the same product, and one may be more discounted than the other.
• Many of the products we have been keeping an eye on are already on sale, so if you need something right away, you still may get a good deal.

Become a Prime Member

Prime Day requires you to be a Prime member to access the best deals. If you are interested in joining, you can try Prime for free for 30 days. Being a Prime member means you get free shipping on thousands of items plus access to streaming services such as Prime Video and Prime Music.

There are a few other options as well, like:

• Prime Student: College students can opt for a 6-month trial that costs just $7.49 a month thereafter.
• Prime Access: This is a discounted membership for qualifying government assistance recipients, starting with 30 days free.

There are ways to really stretch your money on Prime Day!

Earn Credit

During past Prime Day events, Amazon allowed you to earn credit toward Prime Day deals by giving you money when you purchased certain items or completed tasks. For example, you could earn a $15 credit when you backed up your photos with Amazon Photos.

Use Prime Coupons

There is an entire section dedicated to Prime coupons for Prime members. Search for products you want to shop, then “clip” the coupon to save it to your account, and the discount is applied at checkout.

Search on Social

During past Prime Day events, Amazon asked people to tag promotions with relevant hashtags. If you logged onto Instagram, TikTok, or other platforms and searched those hashtags, you could find more deals. We’ll update this page once we know more about hashtags specific to the Prime Day.

What Fitness Equipment Goes on Sale for Amazon’s Prime Day?

For the Prime Day in 2025, we expect to find markdowns on items like:

Wondering if you’ll see weights go on sale during the Prime Day Sale? Resistance training with dumbbells, kettlebells, and barbells is a great way to meet fitness goals. However, these tools often come with a steep price tag. We expect to see discounts on brands we know and trust, like NordicTrack and CAP Barbell. 

Amazon Prime Day Deals on Exercise Bikes

Peloton bikes are often available at a discount during Amazon’s big sales events. You may also be able to find Peloton alternatives from brands like Schwinn.

Amazon Prime Day Deals on Treadmills

There are several treadmills on sale during Amazon Prime Day, including ones from trusted brands like NordicTrack and ProForm. We advise knowing what to look for in a treadmill so you can easily find the exact product you want and snag it before it goes out of stock.

We’re hoping to see sweat-wicking leggings, shorts, workout tops, sports bras, and other fitness essentials on sale.

Amazon Prime Day Deals on Bowflex

Bowflex is a brand that typically does well on Amazon. Don’t be surprised if you see a home gym, adjustable dumbbell, or other deals from the manufacturer known for making affordable quality equipment.

How to Find Deals During Amazon’s Prime Day

Amazon is huge. It’s gigantic. You could get lost jumping from product to product in search of the best deals. So how do you pinpoint what you’re looking for?

Check Early

If you go to Amazon, there should be buttons directing you to shop the Prime Day, where you’ll get a sneak peek of what to expect in terms of sales on TVs, household products, and more. As of this publishing, there isn’t much home gym equipment on that landing page yet, but keep an eye on it.

Use Alexa

You can search products and save them in your cart, on your Wish List, or on your “save for later” list. According to Amazon, Alexa can let you know up to 24 hours before the product goes on sale. You must ask, “Alexa, what are my notifications?” You have the option to then tell Alexa to buy the product if the sale has already been activated, or to notify you when the sale goes live. 

Shop Now

You may have already seen a lot of sales on fitness essentials on Amazon. You can shop for workout equipment and save now if you really need something. I recommend visiting the Prime Day page first to scroll through items. However, keep in mind that it’s a bit of a gamble if you choose to buy now, or wait to see if you’ll get a better deal during Prime Day.
