NordicTrack C910i Treadmill

Editor’s Note: The NordicTrack C910i treadmill is no longer in production. We suggest viewing the NordicTrack Commercial 1750 as the best alternative, or view our Best NordicTrack Treadmills for more options.

There are hundreds of treadmills on the market and sometimes it can be hard to navigate which one will best suit your needs. Maybe you are stuck between ProForm or NordicTrack, or perhaps you just don’t know where to start. When considering where to begin, NordicTrack is a solid place to start and is known for creating solid machines.

The NordicTrack C910i treadmill was discontinued because it was replaced by the C900i treadmill model. However, in this NordicTrack C910i treadmill review, we are going to present you with our favorite alternative and give you the facts if you want to find something comparable on your own.

We Love Treadmills

As a team made up of certified personal trainers, running enthusiasts, and avid gym-goers, our testers know a thing or two about the best treadmills or even treadmill alternatives. It is our mission to give you all the information you need to make the correct decision for you when it comes to the equipment you need, and we strive to make sure that we give you the most up-to-date data.

Bottom Line

If you’re looking to add a workhorse of a treadmill to your home gym, we recommend the NordicTrack Commercial 1750. It’s one of the few treadmills that has decline training capabilities and is compatible with iFIT, one of the best training programs.

Do you currently have a NordicTrack C910i and want a newer alternative? We suggest the NordicTrack Commercial 1750. We have tested this machine, and even though it is built for commercial gyms, we have found that it can flourish for home use, as well.

While it is a little bit more expensive, this is a reliable piece of fitness equipment. It has incline and decline training and folds away using EasyLift Assist to help you save space. The treadmill even comes with a free iFIT trial for people who are interested in checking out what the software is all about.

A Quick Look at the NordicTrack C910i Treadmill

The NordicTrack C910i Treadmill is a great option for heavier people because it has a user weight limit of 350 pounds. No matter what your fitness level is, the NordicTrack C910i can help you achieve your cardio goals with an extra large 20-inch by 6-inch walking belt and a 3.0 CHP motor so you could also use it for running and jogging.

RELATED: Best Treadmill for Heavy People

You used to be able to purchase this machine in-store at places like Sears or Amazon, but since it is discontinued, you would likely have to purchase it secondhand now. This treadmill can cost anywhere between $900-$1,500, so make sure you pay attention to the price!

Key Features of the NordicTrack C910i Treadmill

This is an excellent choice for a treadmill under $1,500. We like that this piece of fitness is reliable as seen through its lifetime warranty on the frame and drive motor. It also stands out as one of the treadmills that has an adjustable cushioning deck. This fitness equipment is convenient for home use because it is a folding treadmill, but is still plenty sturdy as it can hold up to 350 pounds.

Since it is iFIT compatible, if you choose to purchase iFIT you can expect to have a wide variety of exciting workouts to follow. If that doesn’t float your boat, you will also find 32 pre-programed workouts that will keep you busy, as well.

Footprint, Portability, and Durability

This treadmill is sturdy—it weighs 210 pounds, but can also hold up to 350 pounds in weight. The user manual for the 910i treadmill explains the folding system which folds through the SpaceSaver Design and EasyLift. The footprint of the treadmill folded is not listed.

You will have plenty of space to run with a 60-inch by 20-inch running deck. The 3.0 CHP motor will keep you moving and last you for the long haul. NordicTrack gives this treadmill a lifetime warranty on the frame and motor, three years on parts, and one year labor.

Ergonomics

You can count on the FlexSelect Cushioning System to help your joints. A great feature about their cushioning system is that it is also adjustable. This means that if you want a softer or harder running deck you can adjust it to what works best for you. This is an outstanding feature that you will not find on many treadmills.

Technology Benefits and Conveniences

This is a middle-of-the-line piece of fitness equipment. However, we like the technology that comes with the treadmill. NordicTrack is known for its one-touch incline and speed buttons for easy access to your desired speed and incline settings. We also like this treadmill because it has a built-in fan. This is a nice addition when you are sweaty from a cardio burner!

This ICON-owned treadmill is iFIT enabled so you have a wide range of programs to pick from if the 32 pre-programed workouts don’t seem to entice you. While it is not Bluetooth enabled or touchscreen, it does come equipped with a 6-inch backlit LED screen that will allow you to see your workouts and statistics.

You are able to monitor your heart rate through a chest strap monitor, however the chest strap is not included and would need to be purchased separately. This treadmill does come with other conveniences like:

  • Water bottle holders
  • Handrail heart rate monitors

Final Verdict of Our NordicTrack C910i Treadmill Review

Overall, this is a  great purchase for a treadmill, especially if you can get it closer to the $900 price range. We like how you can adjust the cushioning of the treadmill deck to fit your needs. NordicTrack is known for its durability and reliability, so this would be a solid treadmill to have in your home gym.
