The LiveRowing app is free with premium upgrades. The app is only available for Apple devices and is only compatible with Concept2 rowers. When connected, the LiveRowing app takes control of the Concept2 monitor. If you have a Concept2 with a PM5 monitor you can connect via Bluetooth. If you have a monitor without Bluetooth compatibility, LiveRowing sells a cord to connect your phone to the monitor.
The LiveRowing app allows you to build customer workouts, join global challenges, and compete against your friends. LiveRowing publishes a workout of the day if you need more guidance for your workouts. By going premium you get more ability to customize your workouts and additional data and analytics.
Customer reviews are fairly mixed. Customers enjoyed having access to the data. They also enjoyed having a workout of the day to guide their daily workouts. Users shared that the app was buggy, and their app would crash and their workout data would fail to save. Multiple customers shared that they liked the app but because of the crashing they eventually deleted it. Customers did not recommend upgrading to the premium membership.
