Rogue Fitness Jacobs Ladder combines the flow of a treadmill with the rung-design of a ladder to create a low-impact, high-intensity cardio machine. In one study, this machine was dubbed a superior workout compared to traditional treadmills as its design reduces stress on the lower back, hips, and knees without sacrificing intensity or performance. Jacobs Ladder stands with a 40-degree climbing angle. The rungs continuously move, forcing both your arms and legs to climb at different intensities.
Featuring a digital display, you can track elapsed time, feet climbed, rate (feet/min), calories burned, and heart rate if wearing a compatible chest strap. Constructed with welded tubular steel and solid maple climbing rungs, this machine is both sturdy and durable. It comes fully assembled which, given its weight and size, is a huge bonus. Jacobs Ladder weighs an impressive 325 pounds and measures 31.25 inches wide, 76 inches long, and 65.5 inches high. As such, not everyone will have space for this tank of a machine. If you do have the space, you don’t need to worry about a nearby power outlet as this machine is self-powered.
Its sturdy build and unique design comes at a premium price. At over $6,000, this certainly is not in the average home gym owner’s budget.
