Silicone-based lubricants are used on treadmill belts to reduce noise and elongate the life of a treadmill. Impresa’s Treadmill Belt Lubricant is 100% silicone and formulated to use on virtually any treadmill. Sold in a pack of two, each 4-ounce bottle features a precision twist top designed to make application easy. Impresa states that no extra applicator tip is needed, however users have stated a longer tip or applicator would be appreciated to better reach the center of the belt.
This nontoxic, liquid-based silicone lubricant is odorless and reported to work very well. Only a very small amount is necessary for proper maintenance, which means each bottle will last a decent amount of time. As such, the price for two bottles is especially affordable. There are several complaints of bottles leaking but most consumers were pleased with both the packaging and bottle.
