Product Summary
CycleGo began as a virtual trainer for guided workouts on your stationary bike; later on, they added treadmill workouts. CycleGo is an extremely affordable option for training plans, and all you need is the app and a treadmill or stationary bike. Once you download the app, you no longer need an internet connection to use the app so there is no buffering while you workout.
When you open the app you will be prompted to select an avatar. That avatar will follow the virtual instructor while you are working out. Then you can select a workout or start a training program. The workouts are separated by cycling and running and then organized by difficulty level from L0 to L3. You can also create your own custom workout. You can mark your favorite workouts for quick access in the future, too.
You can customize how the workout looks and sounds by activating and deactivating features like the instructor voice, music, and animated crowd. If the app is running too slowly you can reduce the graphics in settings.
You can use the 18 training programs (12 cycling and 6 treadmills) to improve your fitness. Training programs for cycling include: Let’s Start, Lose Weight, L1 to L2 and Long Rides. The treadmill programs are geared towards beginners and include: Walk, First 2K, First 5K and Lose Weight.
People love CycleGo as it is an extremely affordable way to use guided workouts on your stationary bike or treadmill. Users really appreciated that they didn’t need to use the internet or upgrade to an expensive smart bike to use guided workouts. People did find the treadmill workouts a bit limited and hoped they would expand the offerings.
