Product Summary & Specs
A close cousin of the Magic Carpet Sled and Mini Me Sled, the “Cheap Bastard” is Spud Inc’s simplest, smallest, and—as the name suggests—most affordable weight sled. Weighing at just 1.5LB with a nylon webbing platform measuring just 23″ x 9.5″, the Cheap Bastard Sled is clearly optimized for portability and efficiency, but it can also haul as much as some bulky metal sleds on the market—securely holding multiple steel plates firmly in place.
The Cheap Bastard doesn’t shortchange you on versatility, either. You can do sled drags on grass, Astroturf, carpet, or in any gym or training space with rubber or tile flooring. If it’s a non-abrasive surface, you’re good to go. When your workout’s done, simply roll up the sled and drop it back in your gym bag. For athletes at any level, this is a convenient, effective way to build the posterior chain and metabolic conditioning with one go-anywhere tool.
