The Proviz Sports Classic Reflective Waterproof Running Jacket is a lightweight running jacket designed to support comfort in any weather. It is manufactured using a blend of high-quality, four-way stretch fabrics that provide a flexible yet technical jacket that is fully waterproof. The jacket features sealed sewing lines (seam-sealed) to ensure that no water gets in, making it fully waterproof with a rating of 20,000 millimeters. Additionally, the jacket has a breathability rating of 20,000 grams per 24 hours, which is reported to allow moisture to escape easily. That said, there are several runners who felt the breathability was subpar.
The jacket is highly reflective as well, featuring a fluorescent four-way stretch material that is visible even in low-light conditions. The jacket also includes two side pockets, which users report to be plenty big enough, providing ample space to store your gear while out on a run. When fully zipped, there is a zip guard which prevents chafing around the neck.
Receiving a little over 70% five-star ratings, the majority of runners appreciate the jacket’s performance in wet weather. However, the waterproof surface on the inner sleeves has the potential to stick to your arms (unless you are wearing a long sleeved shirt under the jacket).
