Rogue is back with an updated version of their original nine bar holder. The latest edition features drawn over mandrel (DOM) steel tubes secured to two sheets of 7-gauge steel. DOM tubing boasts a smooth finish, which means little to no scratching on the sleeve of the barbell. This definitely sets version 2.0 apart from competitors.
The unit itself is just under 60 pounds in an 18-inch by 18-inch footprint, providing a strong anchor point for your barbells. Tipping over is essentially nonexistent with this bar holder. Taking up way less floor/wall space than horizontal storage, this is a great option for those with a lot of bars and not a lot of space.
One thing to consider with this holder is placement of the unit in the room as well as placement of particular bars. For example, it may seem convenient to tuck all of the bars away in the corner. This is all fine and dandy until you need the specific deadlift bar you put into the back corner spot of the holder. Getting that bar out becomes a very awkward maneuver that usually requires taking several bars out just to get the one you want.
All in all, this bar holder is a market leader for efficiency and structure. It’s hard to go wrong here.
