The ProForm Studio Bike Pro is the brand’s entry-level studio bike with a screen. The Studio Bike Pro has a 10-inch smart HD touch screen. The screen is also capable of rotating 180 degrees for off-bike workouts. The bike has 22 levels of silent magnetic resistance for a quiet ride, an inertia-enhanced flywheel, and an adjustable seat and handlebars. The ProForm bikes all utilize iFIT programming to stream instructor-led classes to your bike. This particular model comes with a three-year iFIT family membership.
iFIT cycling classes are a combination of live and on-demand classes that are either studio classes or global rides that take you through scenic locations. When taking an iFIT class your instructor can control your bike’s resistance so you can focus on your ride.
iFIT classes are designed to take advantage of incline and decline abilities that are not available on this bike. iFIT also offers non-cycling classes to take advantage of the 180 degree swiveling screen. Other classes include strength training, yoga, HIIT and cooking classes.
The Studio Bike Pro has solid reviews overall with customers loving the interactive iFIT rides, solid bike construction and quiet ride. Users found the bike easy to assemble and start using. They did find the handlebars to be a little shaky when in use. It’s important to note that some people found the saddle to be very uncomfortable, but it can be replaced with a road bike compatible saddle.
Users did have mixed reviews of using iFIT programming on the bike. They loved the scenic views and instructor controlled resistance. However, they were disappointed that the bike did not have incline and decline capabilities to take full advantage of the iFIT class.
