If you are looking for a versatile and high-quality body tower to add to your home gym, the Bowflex BodyTower is a solid option. It is relatively lightweight, solid, multi-purpose, and comes with microbial-resistant handles and nylon-stitched sling straps that clip on and off with high strength carabiners. According to Bowflex, the BodyTower lends itself to over 18 strength-training exercises and, if you are creative, that is likely a conservative number. You can find a placard with eight exercise descriptions on the unit itself. Bowflex also sends a workout guide with 10 more exercise options.
The BodyTower features height adjustable arms, a pull-up station, dip station, and non-adjustable foam cushioned back pad. The pad does not adjust up or down and the tower itself is not tall, so this may not work for taller users. Constructed with powder-coated steel tubing, users find this tower extremely stable when placed on even ground. However, the rubberized feet are fixed, so it may wobble if placed on slightly uneven ground. But the stability it does have is because of the wide base which eats up quite a bit of your floor space.
Bowflex’s BodyTower may not be the most expensive unit on the market, but if you’re trying to keep the cost down, it may blow your budget. But, in return you get a sturdy and very versatile piece of equipment.
