You can hang your barbell vertically on either an upright or crossmember without taking up much space. Plus, a vertical hanging system protects the beloved knurling on your barbells.
The Built Limitless Rack Mount Bar is made from 7-gauge steel and finished with a scratch-resistant powder coat to protect both your rack and barbell. PRx recommends using the upper holes to allow enough space for both storing and removing your barbell without touching the floor or hitting the ceiling. To figure out which top hole to use, PRx suggests adding 5 inches to the length of your bar to determine the vertical space needed for easy access.
It is important to note that unlike other rack mount bars on the market, the Build Limitless Rack Mount Bar does not have a plastic or any other protective material to protect the collar of your bar from damage. Definitely not a deal breaker but sometime to be aware of.
