Product Summary

The Revolt Belt Squat attachment for your squat rack allows you to do belt squats without having to purchase an expensive machine. The belt squat allows you to complete your squats without having to use a barbell. It places the strain and load on your hips and legs instead of your back. This accessory isn’t limited to squats; you can also complete other exercises such as rows, bicep curls, and viking presses.

The Revolt Belt Squat attachment is steel with a black powder coat finish. It is 30 inches long and 14 inches high. Revolt has increased the loadable post length to 14.5 inches based on customer feedback. It can fit up to 11 regular 45-pound plates, or 495 pounds. The attachment will fit on 2”x2”, 3”x2”, and 3”x3” racks and fits holes of five-eighths of an inch to 1 inch. The attachment doesn’t come with the actual belt for squatting. If the attachment does not fit your rack or you aren’t satisfied with your purchase, you have 30 days to return it and get your money back. You don’t even have to pay for return shipping.

Customers generally loved the belt squat attachment but they did have some critiques. Some buyers thought the attachment was high quality and allowed them to do squats without aggravating their back pain. They also said the shipping was surprisingly fast. Users with bumper plates in their home gym wished they could load more weight on the attachment (as opposed to steel or cast iron weight plates). Numerous users either purchased a car jack or jerry-rigged one so they could clip in at the top of the squat rather than the bottom.

    Summary

Overall, the Revolt Belt Squat attachment is an affordable way to achieve the belt squat exercise in your home gym. If you only have bumper plates in your gym, you might be frustrated by the lower amount of weight you can move.
