Designed to provide superior cushioning and stability, the Mizuno Wave Horizon 6 combines the patented MIZUNO ENERZY Foam with an asymmetrical foam wave and rubber wall to create a stability shoe that is as comfortable as it is supportive. The foam works to maintain softness while enhancing performance. The MIZUNO WAVE plate runs along the underfoot and is engineered to disperse energy from impact which, in turn, provides a stable platform.
Additional features include the MIZUNO ENERZY CORE, the innermost foam which provides extra softness and shock absorption to improve comfort. The Mizuno Wave Horizon 6 is reported to have a very breathable upper with a grippy carbon rubber outsole. Given this is a stability shoe, users appreciate the level of cushioning it provides.
If you plan on using these for some training runs, keep in mind that they may have a longer break-in period. There is also one user who stated the insoles moved a bit when in use, but this does not seem to be an issue for the majority of users.
