The Lake CX 332 is a high-end, uniquely engineered cycling shoe designed for serious cyclists. Featuring a combination of K-lite kangaroo leather, mesh in the upper part of the shoe, outlast temperature regulating heel cup and tongue liner, and an internal heat moldable Thermaform carbon fiber heel counter, these shoes are engineered with cutting edge smart fabric technology for comfort and function. The dual-side mounted IP1 Boa dial closure and its moldable heel counter design enables a customized fit which is just as suitable for long training rides as it is for race day.
Lake provides a sizing guide on their website, but users report the shoes run small even when using the chart as a guide. Consider sizing up at least a half of size from whatever you measure. These shoes do have a break-in period, so don’t anticipate ideal comfort on the first wear.
The CX 332 boasts Lake’s patented double sole system, which has a semi-flexible fiberglass platform inner sole allowing for flexibility at the ball of the foot. This flexibility is intended to prevent tingling or numbness sometimes experienced in these areas. The inner sole lies over a rigid carbon sole so that the stiff outer sole remains rigid while the inner sole is comfortable. In regards to clips, the CX 332 is uniquely compatible with both three-bolt and four-bolt Speedplay.
