Hi-Temp Competition Bumper Plates

Hi-Temp’s Competition Training Plates are made from recycled vulcanized rubber with a 2″ stainless steel insert–producing maximum durability and a consistent dead bounce. The Competition model, introduces a new mix that delivers a smoother finish with no decrease in strength from the standard Hi-Temp Bumpers. A greatly reduced plate width / thickness also enables the loading of more weight on the barbell.

Hi-Temp has been manufacturing plates for more than a decade at their plant in Tuscumbia, Alabama, and they remain among the few American bumper plate producers in the industry. By no coincidence, they also rank among the very best–vouched for by trainers, gym owners, and competitive lifters, and used at some of the highest levels of competition.

The collar on Hi-Temp bumpers is inset from the plane of the plate, allowing for better protection when multiple plates are on the bar, and reducing the risk of inserts getting impacted or popping out. The Competition Training Plate’s updated smooth black finish is also complemented with new bright colored text (pink, green, yellow, and blue) for the weight measurement.
