Sponsored athletes can absolutely do wonders for a company.

I've read quite a bit on Phil Knight and his journey in building Nike to the company it is today. Without a doubt, without Prefontaine, Jordan, and a whole cast of other characters, Nike would not be where it is today.

Reebok has seen success in sponsoring athletes in various sports and has dumped quite a bit of product as well as some money in the laps of famous CrossFit athletes.

Because of this, they probably ask their athletes to go on their site and leave a review of what they think of the shoe.

Here's a review from Reebok Sponsored CrossFit Games Athlete Austin Malleolo:

A great review from a pretty good athlete. Not only does he go into some detail, but it seems like he spent some time writing the review.

The next one I noticed was from Khalipa:

Jason Khalipa obviously does a lot more coaching than competing now as he's decided to spend more time with his family (support his daughter Ava here.) He's seen every iteration of the Nano and gives what appears to be a pretty honest review saying he's liked all of the nano's, but also say's not everyone is the best thing since sliced bread.

Finally, we have Reebok's golden child Rich Froning. I'm a big fan of Froning's abilities, but man sometimes it seems like if he was any less marketable he'd be named Ben Smith (zinger.) Here's what the Champ had to say:

That's it folks, best nano yet!
